We came together as a newish shaped team with some additional help from Tasman and Steven who worked very hard in the middle against a very skilled team that over run the middle. Our defence held really well in the first half with only 3 going in but as Wimbledon got in their rhythm and we started to tired they made the ball do the work and finished with another 6 goals to defeat us 0:9. Luke and Ian worked hard on the wings running well over 7km for the match, Masaya made some strong breaks up front. Our best player by far was Tony in goal who saved so many and also got a battering in the process. Special thanks to Dobbin for stepping in to help and for Donald for not giving the penalty flick after his brothers very obvious ankle hook. Some good learnings from the game about trying to use our width more and make the ball work for us. Well played guys and thanks for those that helped out and looking forward to our match away next week at Ashford. Remember please confirm you availability by Monday as we are replanning to confirm the teams as early as possible.
